Lachezar Filchev welcomed as a subject editor at Journal of the Bulgarian Geographical Society

Prof. Dr. Lachezar Filchev is a scientist at the Space Research and Technology Institute at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (SRTI-BAS), specializing in remote sensing, GIS, spatial analysis, and environmental monitoring. His scientific interests include satellite and UAV data processing, time series, landscape ecology, natural and technological risk assessment, and the application of digital methods for sustainable land management. He authored number of scientific publications and a participated in national and international projects related to Earth observation and digital geospatial technologies.
