IGU's YECG commission calling early-career geographers to fill out a survey
You are a young researcher in the field of Geography, master or PhD student or Postdoctoral researcher up to 10 years after defence? Then this survey is for you!
This survey, conducted by representatives of IGU Young and Early-Career Geographers Commission, aims to explore the opportunities, challenges, and career experiences of young and early-career geographers across different countries and institutional contexts.
We are interested in understanding how factors such as research funding, fieldwork opportunities, publication requirements, networking, mentorship, and emerging technologies shape academic and professional development.
The survey takes approximately 10 - 15 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary, and all responses will remain anonymous and will be analysed only in aggregated form.
