Kalina Tylko welcomed as a copy editor at the Journal of the Bulgarian Geographical Society

Dr. Kalina Tylko has recently accepted appointment as copy editor of the Journal of the Bulgarian Geographical Society. She has recently completed her PhD in the field of Earth Sciences, and more specifically, the Geography of Tourism, at the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Her doctoral thesis is based on a study of the effects on tourism related to the announcement of Plovdiv city as the 2019 European capital of culture. She is currently employed as Senior Assistant Professor at the Climate, Atmosphere and Water Research Institute at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Kalina is interested in researching local community engagement in initiatives related to nature conservation and tourism.
